Paul Halley

Paul Halley is a writer, theater artist, and experienced digital content specialist from Rockland County, New York, now serving as ArtsWestchester’s Web Manager on the Marketing and Communications team. Since 2020, Paul’s work as a web content editor has included his contributions to two major public-facing website redesigns in the public and nonprofit sectors: New York State Department of Labor (2020-2021) and Mellon Foundation (2022-2023). Paul has also served as the direct web content editor on the Marketing Committee at Elmwood Playhouse, a local community theater in Nyack, New York, since February 2024.

Paul has written and directed two original one-act plays: “ANA” (2008, Elmwood Playhouse) and “Supergiant” (2009, Suffern High School). According to the Student Report from the June 2009 Ramapo Central School District Board of Education Meeting, “Supergiant” holds the distinction of being Suffern High School’s first-ever student-written play. Additionally, Paul’s poems and essays have been featured in various literary magazines, including Chameleon Literary Art Magazine (Suffern High School), North Country Literary Magazine, and Blueline Literary Magazine (both associated with SUNY Potsdam).

Paul is a 2017 graduate of SUNY Potsdam where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English Writing. To advance his skills and knowledge in nonprofit communications and marketing, Paul currently studies in a six-course continuing education program in Digital Asset Management at Rutgers University and is planning to pursue an MFA graduate program in Nonfiction Writing.
