About "Where Should I Begin?"

“Where Should I Begin?” was written and produced by Paul Halley as a ‘call for liberal arts education’ during the SUNY Potsdam’s Bicentennial Celebrations in 2015-2016. In celebration of the first SUNY school’s 200th birthday, and as one of the first kick-off events for the campaign, “Where Should I Begin?” was originally presented in front of a student and faculty-filled audience on September 11, 2015 at Dunn Hall on the SUNY Potsdam campus. Following the screening was a panel discussion with key campus stakeholders who could speak to the history and future of liberal arts and sciences at SUNY Potsdam, including the then-Dean of The School of Arts and Sciences Dr. Steven Marqusee. Later that year, “Where Should I Begin?” was presented at the 2016 SUNY Undergraduate Research Conference, held at SUNY Cobleskill, where it was eventually recorded in the SUNY Digital Repository (SDR), a centrally managed online repository that stores, indexes, and makes available materials with a focus on historical and special collections from SUNY campuses and SUNY System Administration.
