Told in three parts, this film is a call for liberal arts education told through the context of SUNY Potsdam’s Bicentennial Celebrations.

While experiencing the grief brought on by his mom’s boyfriend’s death, Paul recalls this man in ways that are special and unique to their relationship. Proving that his mom’s boyfriend went above and beyond the call of duty, as there was technically no marriage certificate binding him to the family, Paul remembers his stepfather giving him access to food, education, and shelter – basic needs – which made him a *true* Father/Figure.
