A little boy walked to the sky

To his clean slate he said goodbye.

This boy said ‘hi’ to a whole new world

And watched this scene become unfurled.

He said farewell to purity

As his emotions would present obscurity.

First concern was to feel good

No one was misunderstood.

But soon this world became intense

He came here at his own expense.

To go back home it was too late

This boy deserved a better fate.

The boy sat down and closed his eyes.

Would someone ever hear his cry?

Then at the time that he awoke

The world of which we spoke…

…had vanished.

Here he was, at home, at last,

Thinking of his awful past.

A little boy to be forgiven.

Another chance is what was given.

His curiosity pushed him far

To a world that’s so bizarre.

And nothing else, he craved his youth.

Until the end he’ll know the truth.

A little boy walked to the sky

And felt as if his soul could fly,

That whole new world was something fun,

But now adulthood has begun.
