If a sun star

Blew up in my face

I would fly to the galaxy

To discover what it feels like

Without the only warmth

I’ve ever known

Turns out it is a blizzard

I am frozen like a statue

Trying to move in motion

My body is still

Without the only warmth

I’ve ever known

What blows my mind into space

Is learning that

There only is, only will be

One warm star, but I am burning

Without the only warmth

I’ve ever known

If you were a sun star

Would I freeze if you ended?

I think I would live on, knowing

You were the only warmth

I ever cared to know
